About the charity: GIST Cancer UK

We Support Patients, Promote Treatments and Research Cures...

GIST Cancer UK works with its patient and carer community to address the issues that matter to them including access to information, support and effective and personalised treatment.  It has close links with medical and healthcare professionals working in this area and lobbies government and the NHS on behalf of patients.

We offer support »

~ for those living with GIST cancer.

We are a network of patients and their carers, all of whom are affected by GIST. We share experiences and offer mutual support by phone, through meetings and online.

We provide information »

~ for patients, carers, medics...

We have information about GIST, its treatment and current clinical trials. All this can help you to find your bearings and to make more informed choices about your treatment.

We fund and stimulate research »

~ into GIST.

Medical understanding of GIST has advanced rapidly in recent years but there remains much that is not understood. We raise funds to support selected researchers working in this field.

Membership
